From Club kid to community changemaker, Chris Ann Sarver’s journey is a powerful example of what it means to lead with heart. Recently named the 2026 Peacemaker Award recipient by the Encinitas Rotary Club, Chris Ann has spent more than 30 years creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and valued.
Teaming Up with SD Strike Force
Through this collaboration, the Strike Force will utilize the Oceanside Club’s athletic field for team practices throughout the season (March through August), while investing directly back into Club youth through game access, on-site programming, and year-round exposure across their platform.

Recognized as Agency of the Month
We’re proud to share that we’ve been named Agency of the Month by the San Diego Food Bank. It’s an honor, but more importantly, it’s a reflection of the everyday work happening inside our Culinary Arts Program.
Leah Wins San Diego County Youth of the Year
Big news we’re really proud to share… Leah M., our Youth of the Year, was named San Diego County Youth of the Year! Now she’ll represent San Diego County at the state level in Sacramento (it’ll be her first time on a plane), with the chance to advance to the regional and national competitions.
Teen Scene: New Year, New Goals
Our teens jumped into January by setting goals together. To kick things off, teens came together to set two group resolutions.
Hero For Youth Award
We are proud to share that Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest San Diego has been recognized as a 2025 Hero for Youth through the Club Advocacy Recognition Program by Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
