Board of Directors Retreat
Wednesday October 19th
Members of the Board of Directors met with Junior Board and staff leadership to discuss organizational development and review Club business and strategic direction with Marineke Vandervort, the Club’s CEO and Doug Regnier, the 2016-2017 Board Chair. Attendance was high and individuals came passionate with ideas to build on programs and fundraising successes.
The mood was positive, after solar carport parking spots became open that day, after weeks of construction; a project stemming from the Board’s strategic decision in past years’ meetings. At the end of the night long-time Operating Board members met and socialized with new and longtime Junior Board members and the 2016-2017 Junior Board Chair, Caroline Hornblower at the Harper Clubhouse’s Center for a Healthy Lifestyle.
All are looking forward to a bright finish to the 50th anniversary year of the Clubs.
