They impart substantial services to Solana Beach School District families, providing after-school care, enrichment activities, tutoring, homework assistance, robotics, gardening, access to a Tech Lab, musical arts, sports, and swim lessons, all of which instill a sense of belonging, usefulness, influence, and competence in local youth. What distinguishes them is not just the innovative programs designed to empower local youth but also their stalwart support for at-need families. The Boys & Girls Club of Northwest San Diego demonstrates a commitment that goes beyond the ordinary to create lasting, positive change in the lives of students.”
