For 39 years, our Aquatics Center has been one of the places where our Club delivers on its promise to help kids and teens learn, grow and reach their full potential.
Keeping these opportunities available takes year-round investment. That’s why we come together for our Fix-a-thon matching campaign. Right now, every dollar is matched up to $50,000, thanks to our generous donor, Don Oliphant.
We budget more than $264,000 per year to cover pool utilities, supplies, and maintenance.

Free Lessons
We offer free swim lessons annually to members of our La Colonia and Oceanside Clubhouses.
Training Future Lifeguards
We are an authorized provider for the American Red Cross, offering in-house lifeguard training and lifeguard instructor classes as well as water safety instructor classes.

Adult Programs
Solana Beach Swim Masters has held practices consistently for 6 days a week since 1994 and has been home to thousands of local triathletes from beginners to multiple World Champions.
Top Level Swim Team
For the past 15 years, RSD has had over 500 members and sustains a waitlist.
Recognition
Our Aquatics Center has been recognized by USA Swimming’s Make a Splash Foundation and San Diego Prevent Drowning Foundation as a leader in drowning prevention and swim lesson instruction.
A Top 100 team in the country
RSD is a USA Swimming designated Silver Medal Club for the third year in a row and ranked as a Top 100 team in the country out of 40,000 teams, recognized every single year since the program’s inception in 2012!
