Youth Arts Academy is seeking students to perform at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s NATIONAL CONFERENCE this May! This is a once in a blue moon opportunity to perform a special version of the Broadway musical Annie Jr. in front of thousands of Boys & Girls Club advocates from across the country!
Join us this year for music, food and fun while helping raise some much needed funds to support the premier North County youth music program, the Youth Arts Academy at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito. Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito’s Youth Arts Academy (YAA), is hosting this year’s 11th annual Commotion – Youth Rock Concert and fundraiser on Sunday, May 19 from 11am to 2pm. This year’s concert will again take place at the Music Box, a major player in the San Diego’s Live Music Arena. The Music Box, has the same capacity as the Belly Up and a few hundred less than the House of Blues and North Park Observatory. We are anticipating roughly 200 guests. This event is family and community friendly and will feature our Youth Arts Academy’s student-created rock bands as well as featuring our popular Monday Night Jazz Band and few of our advance singer/songwriter students. Stage, lights, and professional sound engineer will create an opportunity that these young musicians will never forget.
